never EVER using color remover again to bleach my hair at home… nothing can really describe how I was feeling in this moment. This was the absolute worst thing thats ever happened to my hair and I want to continue to share this video as a reminder to anyone out there who loves to do their own hair at home. Here’s exactly why my hair fell out: I naturally have dirty blonde hair which I have regularly bleached for years more times than i could count. My hair had always turned out pretty but just a little damaged. One day i decided to put brown hair dye on top of my bleached blonde hair… 3 weeks later i decided i didnt like the brown and wanted to go back to my blonde hair. I had never done this before so i watched a youtube video that told me to first use color remover, then the bleach. I had never used color remover before but this sounded correct so i bought the stuff to do it at home! I put the color remover on my hair and after rinsing it out, my hair was a super ugly orange color! So i thought “the bleach will fix this” after i had already stripped my hair of everything it had with the color remover i then put on the bleach. After leaving the bleach on for a while i went to rinse it out and thats when i realized what was happening and started to record videos to send to my best friend. This video is the videos i send to her put into one. Moral of this story is: dont do something to your hair at home unless youre 100% certain of the results, dont use color remover and bleach in the same day, dont try to go back to blonde if you have brown hair dye on damaged bleached hair. My hair has still not recovered completely and has barley made it to my shoulders. Please learn from my mistake and keep your hair safe from this terrible bleach hair fail!!
