kinda loved it when she left... dont get me wrong i also loved the seasons she was in, but everything was about her. Even when jo died and alaric lost her and their kids on their WEDDING day. Everything was about Elena AGAIN. Season 7 and 8 gave more room to focus on the whole point of the show in my opinion: a bond between brothers.
