The views are great throughout the ride, and once you’re at the top there are trails to hike or a restaurant if you just want to grab food/drinks and enjoy the view. My sister and I rode this in the winter once. Very cool snowy views, but all the other riders were skiers who gave us funny looks for not being in ski gear. 😂 There’s a nice restaurant at the top, too.

For all the people asking in the comments, this is the gondola at Crystal Mountain ski resort. There's a restaurant and great view of the big mountain at the top. If you feel like a great challenge, try out the disc golf course that starts up there, almost lose all your discs by hole 6 and hike the rest of the way down. It's good times. LOL!

That’s a good start for beginners. Go to Wallowa Lake and ride that one. It’s the steepest gondola in North America. Breathtaking.

This is sped up. It has to be. I was just on it. It was not that fast and periodically stopped mid route . going up is fine. Going down is worse lol
