as a fellow wlon hater its clear this dude just hates tesla regardless of anything else. demo'd both this weekend. both were nice but the fsd was amazing. im worried about the rivian build quality (just google it). also while the rivian does have more capability most people aren't taking their daily driving vehicle off the pavement. I love the look of the r2 amd think it COULD overtake rhe y but i dont think it will for a while. also, r2's lidar isnt for fsd capability. gen3 lidar r2 amd gen2 camera/radar will have the same autonomy capability for years (per rivian). the lidar is to gather data to help build the the library for the driving model

People that don’t understand how beneficial FSD is are just in denial. For context I work night shifts in healthcare and have a 40 minute drive home , got off at 7am going in the direction of the sun so I threw on my sunglasses and accidentally fell alseep 10 minutes in. Woke up in my parking spot at my house. FSD is absolutely worth going with the Tesla for over any other EV

The R2 has actual off-road capability. It’s a true SUV not a weird crossover like the Y. We need the R3 asap tho.
