Crystal skull was so horribly bad. Ruined Indiana jones franchise.

Exactly. It’s not the message, it’s the presentation. Disclosure day didn’t hit emotionally, not because of the message, but because I don’t give an ounce of a shit of any of the characters or the stakes at hand

Yep ANYONE that says Crystal Skull is better then Temple of Doom has no idea what there talking about Even Harrison’s acting was off in Crystal Skull the Grab the snake in the quick sand scene looked like it was filmed on a Saturday night live stage horribile acting by that guy Mac and others. We knew 20 minutes in Crystal skull was gonna be bad Temple of Doom is epic and amazing they should have brought Shorty back !

This is why the supernatural component in stranger things, specifically eleven’s abilities worked so well because they’re weren’t unnecessary flares and colorings that makes it seem like she’s some super hero.

Effort is the key word. Practical effects take effort and money, but it’s so much better than CGI

I really agree with what you said at the beginning but I don’t think that Emily Blunt scene is a great example of this problem

You’re telling me Spielberg couldn’t afford to get real animals to stand around, and had to use crappy cgi instead

No you don't understand, it has aliens in it so nothing in it has to be believable (I am very smart)

Great example! Crystal Skull just came out at a bad time, Spielberg was old and tired and ready to shoot on bluescreens instead of on location

I've been saying that for YEARS, if you can't think of a better way to get him back in the car, then he doesn't get back in the car.
