I generally dislike all politicians regardless of party, but I do feel a respect for politicians who are willing to recognize or take a moment for ordinary people in a touching way. I think there should be more of that and maybe I wouldn’t be such a porcupine about politics. I’m glad you’ve gotten recognition for your story bc I think how you love your family is really something beautiful. We need to be reminded of love in this world.
