@explaining.quran: Allah offered a trust so immense that the heavens, the earth, and the mountains refused to bear it. Yet mankind accepted it. «“Indeed, We offered the Trust to the heavens and the earth and the mountains, but they refused to bear it and were afraid of it. But man undertook it…” (Qur'an 33:72)» This Trust (Al-Amānah) is the responsibility of free will, faith, worship, and accountability before Allah. Unlike the rest of creation, human beings were given the choice to obey or disobey, to believe or reject, to earn Paradise or Hellfire through their actions. The mountains, despite their unimaginable size and strength, shrank from this responsibility. The heavens and the earth declined it out of awe for its weight. Yet mankind accepted it-and with it came the greatest honor and the greatest test. Every prayer you miss, every sin you hide, every act of kindness, every sincere repentance, and every decision you make is part of the trust you carry. Your life is not random; it is a covenant with your Creator. One day, every soul will stand before Allah and answer for how it fulfilled the trust that even the mountains feared to carry. #quran #islam #muslim
