@g24xtra: Forty-two South African nationals have been deported from Ireland after being found to be residing in the country without legal permission. The group, made up of nine men, 18 women and 15 children, was flown out of Dublin Airport on a chartered flight on Thursday and arrived in South Africa on Friday morning. Authorities said all 15 children were removed as part of family units. The deportation operation was carried out by the Garda National Immigration Bureau in accordance with deportation orders issued by Irish authorities. Officials also disclosed that two members of the group had previous criminal convictions in Ireland.
