Honestly I think West deviated from the plan when he tried to get back in Ciara’s good graces. I think the plan was to just let that fizzle, but when he realized Jesse was trying to swoop in he literally couldn’t let someone else have something he thought was still his even though he obviously was only with Ciara that summer to keep Jesse at bay. He lowkey hated Jesse (and Ciara) the whole time.

They were doing ear stuff 😂😂😂 anyway my theory is that they underestimated Amanda’s fandom. I think their plan was that Kyle was going to get the villain edit, and her the sweetheart edit. And him, captain save a h*e. What they didn’t account for (and their ultimate downfall) is Ciara’s popularity FAR OUTWEIGHS Amanda’s by leaps and bounds. Which makes this even funnier cause Cici is SPOT ON THE MONEY when she said “He is with you to spite me” because i believe West is staying just to prove a point. Not because he is enamoured by Amanda. They planned this like the little pathies they are. I just don’t think they realised that their end goals were different and their plan was stupid 🤣😭 all that planning only to caught is so embarrassing
