facts! most of my close friends and my partner are vegan! I have watched several people in my life go vegan or vegetarian just by proximity. I was lucky enough to work at multiple plant based restaurants so I got into my circle that way

I think you raise some good points but what happens when it becomes inconvenient to be vegan? What happens if your friends stop being vegan or vegan restaurants close? Then those people will likely stop becoming vegan themselves because they just traded one way to follow the crowd with the other. People need to develop strong ethical morals around veganism and do it with integrity. If you can’t picture yourself as the only vegan in a world full of non vegan, then I don’t think you truly have it in your heart. Of course these things can also develop with time…
