My hubby showed me how to use all the power tools in the garage and now I am retired early and taking care of the house while he works. I chose this. This way when he gets off work on the weekend we can head straight to camp to spend time together doing fun things. Feminism is having all the options and picking the one that is right for you. We renewed our vows in Vegas last March (just before the tariff war started). We’ve been best friends for 20 years. 🥰

Totally agree Mand. I love my wife to bits but we take the absolute piss out of each other all the time. Neither of us is perfect and we know it but life is to be lived and not to be taken seriously.

Exactly, Mand. A good bit of irony and sarcasm add so much to a partnership, a depth that goes beyond the lovey-lovey. The initial romance will inevitably fade, but the respect and humour shared by two equals are what make a marriage last.
