I find crumpled up poems within my books, in old purses I haven’t used for a while, on post-its, resturant napkins…and reading them, I’m taken right back to when I wrote them.

hey,this was my first poem I ever wrote after finally letting her go when she left my life,I wrote this on New Year’s Eve last year and I wrote a goodbye letter for her,not to read but just for me to release everything,for not seeing a genuine person who wanted to be there for her and just cater to her.Being in the mental health 3 times broke me mentally but it made me stronger because I have the capacity to care and love someone very deeply🫂🥹❤️🙂
