@rubydee.and.me: The best thing about the splash pad at Eisenhower Park in Milford, CT is how spacious it is; so many features and tons of room to park your stroller or blanket. ⚠️The worst part is that it isn’t fully fenced in. I want to make it VERY clear that there are SEVERAL openings to the parking lot and road so if you have a runner or want to sit and watch, this is probably not the park for you⚠️ That being said, it felt very clean, I loved how there were shady spots/coverings, and how there was access to bathrooms. You could easily make a full morning of it and start at the playground (Bodie’s Place) which is delightful and will have its own post. Pro Tips: This is a free park but there is signage (not entirely clear) on resident vs. non-resident parking. The playground is so fun. Again, NOT FULLY FENCED IN (and my toddler picked TODAY to run from me twice). Water features can be spun so make sure you put your stuff far away.
