@pbsnews: While most scientific research has focused on men, when it comes to parenthood, the focus has largely been on mothers. But new research shows that fathers undergo profound changes as well — in their hormones, behavior and even their brains. One of those changes: a drop in testosterone. “We find that there is this organic, normative drop in testosterone around the transition to fatherhood,” clinical psychologist and University of Southern California professor Darby Saxbe told host William Brangham. This is important research, but what it doesn’t explain is how testosterone is linked to confidence, stability, calmness, and physical and mental health. Testosterone is directly linked to cholesterol as well. High LDL is significantly correlated to low T and statins make it worse.

I don’t know where people think high testosterone means more sex. It does not translate like that. She even painted that picture and she’s an expert. I take testosterone and you can inject as much as you want. It does not mean you will have a great sex drive.
