@theswirlmuse: Shredded Lamb Leg (Middle Eastern) 🍖 Ingredients 2.2kg bone-in leg of lamb Seasoning: • 1.5 tbsp 7 spice • ½ tbsp paprika • 2-2.5 tsp salt • ¼ tsp cayenne (optional) • 3 tsp Maggi seasoning • Juice of ½ lemon • 1 tbsp olive oil Extras: • 6–8 garlic cloves • Rosemary sprigs • 2 bay leaves Method -Preheat oven to 160°C. -Pierce holes all over the lamb and stuff with garlic cloves and rosemary. -Mix all the seasoning ingredients together and brush over the lamb. -Add extra rosemary and 2 bay leaves. -Wrap tightly in parchment paper, then foil, making sure it’s completely sealed. -Cook for 4.5 –5 hours. -Rest covered for 20 minutes, then shred and serve. *Serve with rice, cucumber mint yogurt, sumac onion and parsley salad!
