In all fairness, it depresses me every day that I can’t make my hair look like my hairdresser does. I love it for a day and then try as I might, I just cannot get it to look the same. But that’s on me not being as good with my hairstyling tools as my hairdresser, not on my hairdresser.

That's why I love my hairdresser! She asks me how I style my hair and does it pretty similarly, sometimes she will style it with more effort, but I can still achieve a very similar look at home 🥹

Oh I know my hair will NEVER look as good as it does when I leave the salon but I never blame my stylist. I simply don’t have time or patience to do my hair lol. Plus my hair stylist is amazing with my hair and I’m sub-par at best. 😂

Doing hair is literally the whole point of being a hairdresser? Also heat styling does not stay after washing, for some people, it can drop after a couple of hours. You either keep curling it or get a perm if you want them for longer!

I had a client that was so excited about her hair. She loved her hair. She even booked in some highlights with me then she called the next day and said that I gave her choppy layers, uneven cut. Kept the highlights, but took my name off of them and then came in for a full refund a couple days later. Like she was taking pictures the day of and saying how much it was the best hair of her life. Apparently, when she came in to get it fixed, it looked exactly the same, and the stylus barely fixed anything but she still wanted a full refund. As a new stylist, I get confused when you have clients that say how much they love their hair and then they changed their mind so much so quickly.

Not going to lie, my stylist struggles with my bangs and it honestly makes me feel better. If the professional has issues sometimes then me having issues isn’t surprising. If only I could do the waves like she does.
