every racist in the comments are so loud yet so wrong. The ottawa police has gotten horrible and the trust within the community shows that. At 16 years old i was unlawfully detained and assaulted by an ottawa police officer. She WAS in the wrong because she got reprimanded for the way she treated me. but i am white, that is why she had a punishment. The cops who treat minorities the same way do not get reprimanded.

Playing devils advocate- why is crime being measured to total population? This is saying that no matter what gender, race, colour, nationality etc. that across the board everyone creates the same amount of crime percentage wise. Wouldn’t it be best to measure based on those brought in. In a place like Brampton would they have to forgo crime related incidents once they reached their quota, because surely these stats would be skewed. By the way I’m not saying that racism doesn’t exist, and that the police force are racist in their right. I’m just questioning how they are measuring this -
