The group, comprising nine men, 18 women, and 15 children, was flown from Dublin Airport on a special charter flight and arrived in South Africa on Friday morning. According to Irish authorities, all 15 children were deported as part of family units. The operation was carried out by the Garda National Immigration Bureau in line with existing deportation orders. Officials also revealed that two members of the group had previous criminal convictions in Ireland. The deportation forms part of Ireland’s ongoing efforts to enforce immigration laws and remove individuals found to be living in the country unlawfully.
