I've been clear. Repeatedly for more than 2yrs. In fact, I've gone to him in tears. I've also texted him in case seeing it in writing instead of hearing it will matter, it didn't. 16yrs. 16 years and he sometimes can go days without saying a word to me. All I want is for him to treat me how I treat him. To care about me and check in on me like I do him. He has the capacity to be SO EXCITED to see his family, but that energy doesn't exist for me. And today he didn't even tell me his aunts funeral, who I also love, was today. He didn't defend me when his sister told me my visiting the aunt bc none of them did before she passed counts bc I'm not blood. 16 yrs and I don't think he has ever seen me as family, at least not the last several years. I feel so incredibly stupid.
