If supervisors, if you’re having surgery supervisors, don’t need to know what kind of surgery you’re having. It’s against privacy rules for them to actually really know now if you tell them what surgery you are having they’re not allowed to discuss it with other employees OK but the only person that really needs to know what kind of surgery you’re having is HR for this reason so your supervisor manager can’t say you need to come in next week
