Go take classes on how to fillout applications and write a resume and cover letter. Don't use AI for any of it they have AI scan them. Also learn hoe to get interviewed. Every state have some kind of free resources for this. Libraries also can be used for this. If your application and CV don't stand out it's probably going to not even be read. Make it distinctive but not garish. Printed in black and white with no wild fonts. You want something to look professional and snd out, without looking cartoonish or over the top. I'm 64 and have been applying for 6 months for work. I always get a response and a interview. I always ace everything. Unfortunately my physical abilities are limiting me on the jobs I'm skilled at and qualified to do. But I still try, the secret is everything they see first. Even the place that want you to just email. Go in with everything and dressed for the job you are applying for. Lots of places if you have taken the time to come down will at least give everything a look and will probably talk to gauge you.
