I just got out the theater. It fell somewhat flat for me. Mainly bc daughter kept having to run to the restroom, so we missed a few parts. But, I would've been fine with, "Man runs furniture store. His life isn't going great. Discovers strange portal in his store. Gets lost in the Backrooms. I don't mind mental health commentary, but I wanted it to be more about The Backrooms and less about his/her backstory. That may change when I get to watch the whole thing in one sitting. 🙄😂
