It isn’t insurance. It is up to the dr. I picked my OB because their policy was 5 weeks not 10 weeks

it should be standard to check beta HCG 2x and progesterone levels atleast once around 4 weeks upon finding out. Progesterone levels are key for preventing loss.

As someone who’s lost two pregnancy’s in the first 10 weeks and was denied seeing my obgyn until I was at least 10 weeks I cannot agree with this more

Where is this at because the minute I found out I was pregnant. I was able to get in the doctor right away. I had an ultrasound right away.

With my IVF pregnancy, I got seen at 6 weeks and have been seen almost every week since. Doing weekly progesterones while doing PIO.

This must be state specific, idk. I’m in OH and found out I was pregnant at 3 weeks, in to my OB at 4 weeks with a transvaginal ultrasound.

The only reason I have my rainbow baby is because I was being treated by fertility doctor at the time. I naturally got pregnant, luckily But if it was not for that fertility doctor, I would’ve had another miscarriage. They prescribed progesterone to me to help keep my baby and not lose another one. I truly believe women should be seen right away once that pregnancy test shows positive to help save as many babies as possible.

The amount of anxiety and stress you have having to wait till 8 weeks. I found out at 4 weeks and had to wait those grueling 4 weeks till I could go. We went and found out it was twins! So high risk from the start.
