I want to go viral on TikTok today. 🔥 And honestly… I bet you do too! This goes WAY beyond #followforfollow. It takes a little more time, but good things usually do. Here’s what I’ve been learning about training the TikTok algorithm to see you as a REAL person engaging with REAL content — not a bot chasing numbers. 1️⃣ Watch the video ALL the way through first. Don’t tap ANY buttons yet. (And if the creator talks slower than the sloth from Zootopia 🦥😂 you can tap + hold the screen to watch faster.) 2️⃣ THEN engage from the bottom UP: ✔️ Share the video (send it in TikTok OR text it to someone) ✔️ Bookmark/save it (this tells TikTok the content is valuable) ✔️ Leave a REAL comment Use voice-to-text if needed and write a full thought. Instead of: “I wanna go viral.” Say something more human like: “I want to go viral on TikTok so I can better support my teenage boys and connect with real people.” No emojis! *whomp whomp* TikTok pays attention to meaningful engagement. ✔️ Double tap the middle of the screen to like the post ❤️ ✔️ Then hit the little + follow button. AFTER that… Go to search and type: “I want to go viral today” OR “How to go viral on TikTok” Then repeat this process for at least 5 smaller creators. The goal isn’t just numbers. It’s teaching the algorithm: 👉 what kind of content you enjoy 👉 what community you belong in 👉 and that you engage like a REAL person instead of a bot farming views Real people supporting real people still matters.
