Dustin’s counter striking is supremely underrated, the only issue i have with this is that dustin’s tempo is very linear, gaethje’s tempo changed plenty during his exchanges with ilia, that doesnt mean dustin cant fight unorthodoxly, hes had occasions where hes thrown the same consecutive strikes, which i think could work against ilia, despite their size difference being smaller

i think dustin has the slight edge on the feet but ilia still has the grappling ace up his sleeve which people seem to forget, same outcome ass all three of dustin’s title shots
