Read this poem top line to bottom line and then reverse it bottom line to top. It reminds me of patients who are at the end of their days - words become disjointed fragments, repeating and repeating, and memories only glimpses or words at the end. Very beautiful

I don’t know if anyone’s mentioned this to you but Okonkwo is the name of the main character of the book Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe, a very important work in African literature. I just thought it was an amazing coincidence being an author yourself.
