@thekneehaber: Start fixing your patellar tendon pain. (Link in biø for a free guide that goes in-depth on this 3-phase protocol) That nagging pain under your kneecap isn't inflammation. It's a load problem. Your tendon got loaded faster than it could handle, and resting just leaves it weak, so it flares again the second you go back to your sport. The fix is loading it the right way, in the right order. Three phases: 1. Calm it down. Isometric holds load the tendon while keeping it calm. Pain drops, tolerance builds. Move onto phase 2 once you don’t have any pain holding isometrics. 2. Load it up. Slow, heavy reps rebuild the tendon and lay down stronger tissue. Most people skip this phase. It's the one that works. Move onto phase 3 after you’ve spent a few weeks lifting heavy. 3. Bulletproof it. Plyometrics retrain the tendon to be a spring again, so you can run, jump, and cut without it flaring. Don't rush it. Let your pain be the guide, earn each phase, and the pain stays gone for good.
