I’ve had heat spike so many times in an actual salon but never when I’ve done my nails on myself. Maybe my lamp is just lighter volts I have no clue😭

i never get heat spikes on myself when i do my nails but sometimes when im doing others nails they get them. i dont understand im using the same lights and im gentle with their nails, probably more gentle than i am with myself

It’s either ur glue or ur lamp is too close to the nail or on too high of a setting. You shouldn’t have a heat spike with gel x

It's not supposed to happen if it's done right. Your gel could be applied too thickly or the nail bed is being buffed too thin

You just take it out of the light when it starts to be hot for a few seconds then cure as normal and it won’t hurt anymore 🙏

Put it on 3 seconds and take it out then go on like normal (it stops the heat spike)
