i love mage tower and deep roads much more than Brecilian Forest, the most boring part of the game😭 but playing in tower better as warrior than a mage, it was hard 😭

It will probably be an unpopular opinion but this is my favorite mission of Dragon Age, it is truly a beautiful idea to be able to change appearance and powers to become different entities, I remember that when I was little (14 years old) I went crazy trying to understand how this mission worked and I was stuck for months because I didn't have internet and I didn't have any guide, you can't understand how satisfying it was to solve it and almost like a masochist I redid everything from the beginning JUST to listen to all the dialogues of the companions, my favorite remains Sten's, because in fact you never know anything about him!

I do honestly enjoy the fade section for the most part, lore/story wise it's one of the best parts of origins. but I will say that every new playthrough I do pull up a cheat sheet, I did my time in that damn maze, I'm not figuring it out again. The mechanics are cool, I just hate slow backtracking when I have already played the game many times

I ended up here once when I didn’t know how to play the game and only had one save so i kept dying over and over and couldn’t help it (i was a child) i didn’t pick the game back up for years. FUCK this quest 😭

every time I replay DAO I find myself talking to my husband like “oh this section is super cool! wait no I must be thinking of something else, I hate this part” and that tends to happen at least 5 times a run
