Not just men. Everyone should know this before having a baby. And I would go as far as to say it most important for moms to know this because hormones and natural instincts make a mom very worried about there child so often it’s the mother who would be most worried about these if she didn’t know beforehand.

my mum said that rather than cutting my nails as a baby she'd bite them (I know it sounds gross but it works) because she'd be able to tell where my nails end and finger tips start so she wouldn't accidentally cut me
