According to the sound engineer's handwritten log dated February 19th, the microphones continuously registered a secondary high-frequency whisper beneath the dialogue. When played backward, the audio track matched an unreleased emergency broadcast warning that had never been transmitted. During the final take, the female lead was instructed to look back toward the camera as the background lights were cut. The 16mm celluloid suffered severe chemical degradation, freezing the frame on her face while the rest of the room distorted into violent static. The director’s notes confirm that both actors immediately stopped acting, reporting a sudden, complete loss of memory regarding the script they had been reciting seconds prior. The European backers confiscated all audio reels the following morning without explanation. The production unit dissolved by the end of the week.
