I had an esthetics license for 23 years… My favorite regimen is dove unscented soap with a clean fresh washcloth every time, hydrogen peroxide toner or rubbing alcohol, followed by Vaseline or castor oil. Haters gonna say I’m compromising my lipid barrier, but the results always speak for themselves lol. 🤣😂

What works for some people doesn't work for others. My ex boyfriend's routine was gold dial soap, rubbing alcohol, a hot towel, and Vaseline. He had beautiful skin. That same routine had me looking like a peanut patty. 🤔🤪🤣

everyone is mad at this but alcohol is usually at the top of the ingredients list for most skin care products: ALCOHOL DENAT. this is just a less processed version. they use it in my esthetician's office all the time before any treatments or procedures bc it gets your skin clean of oils and bacteria

Cosmetologist here. I always try to tell people with acne prone, oily skin etc that the main ingredients in those products are alcohol and hydrocortisone. You can buy them both for a couple bucks.
