There’s a lot of benefits to do black and white pass through. For one it’s cheaper and two, you actually get better tracking of IR lights like the controllers in darker environments.

As a person who has a quest 3 i slowly started caring less for the color pass through. It would be nice to have but i take that lil bit of extra money and put it to performance

OLED isn’t automatically better. Pancake lenses + a high-quality LCD can provide a sharper overall VR image.

I've seen speculation that you could mod color pass through in the future if that's something you really want. Biggest selling point for me is the simple fact of it not being Meta.

the black and white would be a downgrade as a quest 3 user but everything else seems like an upgrade. probably wont be able to afford one anyway 😅
