@piratedpancakes: I always think about having children. Physically, I can’t have children. My uterus is too weak, my body can’t handle holding anything within it. I can barely stand lately. I have this thought of me in the future, holding a child on my hip as I make breakfast. My body has developed a small curve just for my kin to rest, a small divet between my waist and my hips. Sometimes I cry at night, knowing I will never see my face in someone else. If I had something to care for, I would have purpose. I used to study veterinary science because I thought I would get into helping animals. I tried, I really did. The first time I saw a dog with a broken leg, I got so upset that I threw up in the break room of the shelter. I was fired that day.
