most of them are shaggy mane or ink caps it looks like,if so there edible and the fruiting body is not the mycelium network underneath that produces the mushroom.

They are there because of all the rain. Their underground network can stretch for hundreds of feet in your neighborhood.

The animals probably eat them and it’s just bc that area is shaded and more moist. Good food source for wildlife
