We were really serious about our relationship, so we met every lunch hour and spent it together. As the days passed, we had a public holiday on Friday, and the administration announced it on Thursday afternoon. She was the first person to leave the school gate. The next day, straight from my bed, I got a phone call from her saying she was already waiting for me in town. I got up from bed, washed myself, put on my new clothes, and went to the bus stop. When the bus dropped us in town, my girl paid the bus fare, grabbed my hand, and we walked down to Main Market. On our way to the main market, she stopped and said, "MI SA LAKIM YU TUMAS".
