It’s bittersweet I know. I moved into my childhood home with my family after they passed. Your son and his family will make it their own I’m sure. But cherish the memories and look forward to the new memories.

I took over my Mom's house. I repainted the living room blue. She refused to have blue in her house, so that is one of the reasons why I chose it. My brother helped me with it He looked over and was like umm are you ok?? I was straight on crying as I painted over Her green walls. I was ..yep just let me cry and he was ok im here and I was like I know!!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

bless your heart that is so sweet of you..my grandparents passed and my mom and her sister sold it ..it broke my heart I was hoping to have it 💔 had many childhood memories there ..my mom recently passed and now dealing with my step dad wanting to sell it which is part of my grandparents land next door hate the thought of losing both ugh 😑

I think that’s beautiful I got my grandparents house so I know about all the memories and making new ones. It’s still surreal their house was always my safe space. And now it’s mine.❤️
