Something I find interesting about Jax and Ribbit’s argument was both of them were right from their perspective. To Jax, Ribbit was manipulating her into sharing something personal about herself just so Ribbit could mock Jax because her mother did the exact same thing to her so when Jax said “Your the one using me you’re manipulating me” shes referring to what her mom did to her and how that psychologically messing up her and Ribbit’s friendship. To Ribbit she’s probably thinking “Why is Jax ignoring me? I didn’t tell anybody I promised her I wouldn’t”. When Ribbit I think does understand Jax’s situation about her mom and everything, but she doesn’t understand how much Jax’s mother affected her mental health. So Jax and Ribbit from their perspective are right.
