For me I like his character because of how irredeemable he is and the actions he chose to engage in. I can sympathize with his struggles and partially relate to some of them however, having a sad backstory does not excuse poor behavior it just serves as an explanation to why he is the way he is.

how my ex treated me. it was so hard for me to stop loving him. I still very much do. but not in the way it was. like when you wish someone the best and hope they learn from their mistakes. while also trying to fix my own.
