I watched this a million times when it first came out and just watched it recently again. I really enjoyed how Jim switched between the 2 personalities and both were believable.

The 90s was the last great decade for movies. Then George Lucas popularised digital filmmaking and greenscreen sets which destroyed cinema forever.

Natural lighting and “fly on the wall” perspective elevates a movie by leaps and bounds. But now, Netflix hue and quick cuts are in every film. Bring back men in suits smoking cigarettes.

Finally someone who notices that aspect of The Mask. I have a friend who recently rewatched it and said: "Funny but more for kids, the effects are very outdated." I thought - Really? That's all you got out of this movie?
