Im going through this now. My manager literally asked me if I wanted her job. I'm a high performer and often time is given kudos for my performance and my ability to think outside the box to streamline processes.

Because I’m younger, and I can probably go farther in the same position given the fact that they’ve had eons to make it to where I am and I’m just starting out. People aren’t gonna push for you if they know that you can take their job.

Unfortunately I’ve encountered this a few times. When I’ve had new managers and when my manager is concerned about the security of their own role. I’ve learned not to take it personally, continue performing, continue building relationships, and always be strategic.

My boss blatantly said “you’re low level and I have a masters” then I developed a full program after being removed for her. Then, she took over my program and calls MY materials HERS. Now, she’s my supervisor again. It’s absolutely exhausting.

Deeply insecure as there are no set KPIs so they take other people's jobs and email EXCO so they see they did the job. Also, the lane comment!! I get these multiple times to stop contacting EXCO.
