so i had to learn to not read the texts until I had the time to respond, otherwise I will completely forget for days. for some reason, day walkers don't get that we don't have the time. until i point out that asking me to text back is like me expecting them to text me at 4am.

I’m a night shifter. I understand where you’re coming from people text. I get up about four or 5 o’clock cause I work 12 hour 13 hour days. Some of them are not even my friends no more because they get mad because I won’t text them right away, but Night Shift is different beast
