@beck.lifts4: Most people do not fail their cut because they are lazy. They fail because they try to lose fat as fast as possible. They crash their calories way too low. They add a ton of cardio. They cut out every food they enjoy. Then for a few days, the scale moves fast. But they are exhausted. Their workouts get worse. They are thinking about food all day. And eventually they overeat, feel guilty, and think they “ruined” everything. The goal should not be to eat the least amount of food possible. The goal is to create a calorie deficit you can actually maintain. Eat enough to train hard. Keep protein high. Get your steps in. Have meals you enjoy. And give your body time to change. Losing fat a little slower while staying consistent will always beat losing fat fast for one week and quitting right after. You do not need a miserable diet.
