@melaniesandford18: welcome to Day 8 of my castor oil series: cheetah balm. This is my husband’s favorite remedy for his knee pain. He calls it cheetah balm because he says it works better and faster than tiger balm. Here’s what you’ll need: 1/2 cup to one cup of castor oil- 1/4 of a teaspoon of ginger powder, 1/4 of a teaspoon of cayenne pepper, 1/8 teaspoon of black pepper, 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon, 1/4 of a teaspoon turmeric. Stir until blended and use on areas where you have painful joints. You can cover the area to keep it from staining your clothes or your bedsheets. This is not for use on sensitive areas of skin. The combination of the spices are really helpful for reducing inflammation, increasing blood flow, and to promote healing. The castor oil is the perfect carrier oil for this because it’s very thick and is also helpful for reducing pain, increasing blood flow, increasing lymphatic movement and promoting healing.
