There are some of us who see it as a necessity. Wages are low and daycare is expensive. Two incomes would equal the same thing if we put our daughter in daycare. It is a privilege but unfortunately for some it's necessary.

Yess I wish I could stay home with my baby so bad!! I have so much anxiety bc I only have a month and a half left of my maternity leave and I’m so nervous about strangers at daycare taking care of him 😭

Yes I used to think being a Sahm was common until I realized I was given an opportunity most families don’t get. You got this mama! I’m glad you get to be home with your little one too

I never thought I’d be a stay at home mom. But the military moved us to a place where I can’t work. I can’t even speak the language. And we aren’t at a base. But we’re together as a family and that’s all that matters. We have each other. I’ll take this over another deployment any day.

became a mom at 21, I’ll be 32 in a few weeks. never saw a world with me not being with my babies while they’re grew and I adding 3 more babies to the equation. forever grateful. my heart achessss seeing those moms make post of them bawling bc they have to send their fresh babies off to daycare to get back to work.

it doesnt feel like priveledge. i feel trapped. i hate my life and i resent my daughter. if i wasnt stuck here i cpuld have independence from him.
