@gluten.free.runne: I spent months thinking about and coming up with a design I loved because I wanted it to represent pieces of myself I'd never want to lose. Longs Peak because it’s something I see everyday (and now is on my thigh lol), an arrow because of my love for archery and all the memories I've made with my dad, and the North Star as a reminder to always stay true to myself no matter where life takes me (look at me being all philsophocal 😌). I’m someone that is TERRIFIED of needles but this wasn’t bad at all! I wasn’t nervous at all beforehand, which is odd because before medical needles I freak out (that’s an understatement lol), and actually would say I enjoyed the process. It was maybe a 4/10 on the pain scale - I’d do it again for sure (and probably will later on 😉) I know tattoos aren't for everyone, and that's okay. But this one wasn't designed for everyone… it was designed for me! At the end of the day, this tattoo is a reminder to stay true to myself and do more of what I love, a reminder of my home, and embrace the things that make me *me*. Kaylee, will you have to stay out of the swimming pool, due to the chlorine possibly fading the color. When I got my tattoo, with 3 different colors, in the month of May years ago, afterwards, was when I was informed about the effects of chlorine fading the tattoo colors.

That is awesome! Tattoos are addictive! What a great first one for you! If you love archery you should visit Rocky Mountain Specialty Gear in Wheatridge if you’re ever here in the Denver area! It is a world known archery store and they are fantastic! I worked there for 8 years and my hubby and I are still very close to the family who owns the store. In fact, next week we are going on a high country archery shoot in the mountains put on by the Colorado Traditional Archers Society. Usually over 500 people come and it’s a great weekend of camping and archery! 🏹 it’s strictly trad archery though so no compound bows allowed. It’s up above Newcastle by Glenwood Springs. So fun!
