I really think its the manager who tells his midfielders to always pass backwards and sideways, its not only Bruno but the entire Portuguese midfield including Vitinha and Jao Neves, even when others play they always pass it backwards, sideways and amongst themselves

Not just that. Whenever Ronaldo creates a chance for Bruno to shoot at goal, he never does; instead, he passes back or to the wing. This is simply because if the keeper pushes it back, Ronaldo will tap in the rebound. It shouldn't be about Ronaldo; it should be about the team winning. Bruno makes no attempt on shots or high crosses for the number 9 (Ronaldo). If Ronaldo wasn't playing, would he pass to Ramos? Clearly not. That's our frustration as Ronaldo fans. We want Portugal to win, not Ronaldo to score.
