I’ve heard from one of my child hood dentist (that a lot of order ppl would go to) that he could tell who was Kingston even without the last name bc most of them had really healthy teeth. But their molars were smooth from chewing the eggshells. Also when I looked up home made dog food recipes a few months ago for my dog, many sites said to save eggshells, grind them and sprinkle on/in his food. So I’m guessing there’s something behind it. I still do it sometimes too 🤷♀️

they fed eggshells to children in Japanese prisoner of war camps during WWII because they had so little to eat. the elderly ppl who were those children recalled it as a hated memory so it's fascinating that you both enjoyed them
