In a video posted today, he revealed that shortly after returning home, his wife and daughter were involved in a serious car accident. His wife suffered devastating injuries, shattering both her tibia and fibula, requiring doctors to rebuild her leg with plates, screws, rods, and bolts. Despite everything she was facing, she enrolled in college and is now on track to graduate at the top of her class. His daughter physically recovered much quicker, but watching her mother go through such a traumatic experience took an emotional toll on her. As if that wasn’t enough, Brodnax said he later totaled his own vehicle and was nearly thrown through the windshield, leaving him with a recovery process of his own. During the same stretch of time, his son also broke his leg while skateboarding. Brodnax said 2025 was one of the hardest years his family has ever faced, but instead of breaking them apart, it brought them closer together than ever before. He ended the message by thanking the Lord for keeping His hand on his family through every setback and helping them come out stronger on the other side.
