I often first realise I have been avoiding doing something a week or so after I actually started avoiding doing it. Maybe normalising avoidance would help here. Instead of me scratching my head and thinking, damn didn’t do it again. 😁

Thank you. I had some good advice once around housework. I complained to a friend that once I started housework I couldn’t stop and therefore I didn’t want to start. She suggested I decide how long I want to spend cleaning and set a timer
